Electro-Sensors, Inc. Releases New Series 18 Shaft Speed Sensors to Meet the Most Demanding Applications
Electro-Sensors, Inc. announces the release of the Series 18 shaft rotation speed sensors. These versatile sensors work by detecting passing magnets from a shaft-mounted pulser disc or wrap and output a voltage pulse frequency proportional to the rotational speed of the shaft. All models operate down to, and including, zero speed.
A variety of options allow you to choose the right sensor for your application. We offer Hall-effect or magneto-resistive sensing, single or quadrature signaling, NPN (current sinking) or PNP (current sourcing) transistor outputs and four stainless steel M18x1 housings (basic corded, M12 eurofast connector, 1/2" rigid and 1/2" flexible liquid-tight conduit port options). Output signaling and termination options are compatible with PLC inputs, tachometers and various frequency meters.
All models come standard with a mounting bracket and two stainless steel hex jam nuts and are filled and sealed against entrance of liquids and dust.
