New Easy-Mount Bracket Simplifies Installation of Speed Switches and Sensors.

Minneapolis, MN–September 17, 2001–Electro-Sensors, Inc. has introduced the EZ-100 Easy Mounting Bracket Assembly. The EZ-100 simplifies installation of Electro-Sensors Speed Switches and Speed Sensors, saving the time and expense of designing, machining and installing additional mounting brackets.
The EZ-100 facilitates fast mounting of most Electro-Sensors sensors and speed switches, in both new and retrofit installations including explosion-proof and waterproof applications. The EZ-100 bracket includes a heavy-duty, long-life sealed bearing, stainless steel shaft, painted aluminum bracket and all other necessary hardware for installation. The assembly is coupled directly to the shaft, yet hangs freely and moves with the shaft to compensate for performance variables often caused by excessive movement or vibration.
The EZ-100 includes Electro-Sensors' standard high-performance #255 Pulser Disc. When used with an Electro-Sensors Speed Switch, the system monitors shaft speed to indicate unwanted slowdown, stoppage or critical speed which may indicate potential problems or imminent failure. When used with a Speed Sensor, the system feeds pulses directly into any device such as a tachometer, remote speed switch, counter, PLC, etc.
